when have you been making dolls ? |

I
made my first tool-shaded doll in late October 2003. Then I took
a long break from dolling) Started making pixel polls in late
spring 2005 |
| How
did you discover the world of the dolls and the pixel art?: |
|
|
At
one forum I was member off almost everyone had these pretty
dolls from the Dolls Palace as their avatars) It was very
interesting for me. Then I found a link to Xandorra and
Angy-Chan’s sites in one of the threads. Their dolls were so
beautiful =) But I was afraid to try dolling myself for two more
years since that day) And then one day out of boredom and
curiosity I tried one of the toll-shading hair tutorials. That
started me dolling) It took me almost another two years to find
bravery to start pixel-shading =) |
| What
gives you the desire for creating your own dolls ?: |

I
was so inspired by all the gorgeous dolls that I wanted to give
it a try and create something beautiful myself. And I was so
proud of myself back then that some people even liked my silly
little dolls) It gave me motivation to continue dolling and the
desire to improve. |
| How
did your integration in the doll community went? Did you
immediately went to the forums ? |

Yes,
by the time I made my third doll I was member of a dolling
forum) It was very small and friendly. Its members helped me a
lot. I still keep in touch with some of them, though the forum
itself was closed a long time ago.
I think my integration went pretty good for me) I met some great
people who helped me through my first days of dolling. For that
I am grateful)
Now I try to be part of Russian, English and French communities)
For so many talented people are there |
| Which
are your idoles (in the real life and on the Web) ?: |

Oh…
I don’t think I idolize anyone… I deeply respect many people
for what they are and the efforts they made to become what they
are now but I don’t idolize them. I want to live my own life
and it to be unique) I adore my mother as a role model for she
is a wonderful person and achieved everything by herself |
| Which
dollers do you admire ?: |

|
That
will be a long list)
From Russian dollers it will be Illusion, Riense, Aroy, Mitsui
and SDarky. They all have unique styles and are so talented that
I feel jealous)
From foreign dollers it will be Jaeden (we all dream to be as
good as she is, don’t we?)), Bobby, Blue, Jethyn, Nuska, Sissy,
Mil, Tinu, Phoenix, Jishin, Sleepy Lily, Morrigan and many -many
others)
These people are all so talented and inspiring. I envy all of
them XD |
| The
dolls are for you: a simple leisure or a true passion ?: |
|
|
It
started as a simple hobby, now it is a true passion) I enjoy
dolling and don’t think I will last long without it) It gives
me freedom to create, to show my characters, tell my stories.
Also it is very relaxing and gives you great joy. Well,
sometimes I am quite mad at myself because of my dolls, but most
of the time they make me happy) |
