There
were all those old games with 16 colors pixel sprites that my
brother played and because he was fascinated by them, he gave me
the links to some pixel art sites and a pixel art forum. Soon
after that, i discovered the "dolling scene".. |

gives you the desire for creating your own dolls ?: |

Well,
I was in a chat community in the IRC and i thought it would be
nice to have tiny sprites of all of the people there. A little
bit later I happend to visit Angychan's site (yumestudio.it) and
that somehow gave me a kick. Watching her dolls, I really wanted
to create something like that, too. Especially because it was
bigger stuff than those small sprites I made before.. You could
just put more detail into it. Other than that, I thought it
would be nice to be well-known in some kind of an internet
"scene".. Angychan's site was and still is very
well-known and a lot of people use her bases. I really wanted to
own a well-known site like hers, too. ^^; |

did your integration in the doll community went? Did you
immediately went to the forums ? |

No.
I first owned a site which was more for stuff I drew on oekaki
boards and such. My site wasn't very well-known.. It took me at
least 2 years (I think) to realize that I wouldn't catch much
interest with my dolls if I didn't join any forums. xD |
